Spacious double room in warm beige and brown colours with a big terrace and beautiful view over the dam. Tastefully decorated with beautiful oak furniture and stylish wallpaper. Large modern bathroom with exclusive design. The room is fully equipped including a 40" flat-screen TV with a connection for a laptop and a safe. The large panoramic windows let in light and frame the room beautifully. Enjoy a relaxing experience in the soft leather sofa looking out over the glittering water – ringside seats to the animals and nature. The fallow deer, in particular, can often be seen by the dam. Breakfast is enjoyed in the restaurant Visenten, but, if you prefer, it can be served in bed or on the terrace so you can enjoy the seclusion and being close to nature. Mahravillan is adapted for people with disabilities.
Dovhjorten (the fallow deer)
The fallow deer is beautiful and gracious, and it is the animal most commonly seen at Eriksberg. It was brought here by Bengt Berg. To get nice trophy deer, he exchanged Canada geese for fallow deer from Denmark. These have formed the basis of the many fallow deer with impressive palmate antlers with 12 or more points here at Eriksberg today.
